Login and setup

You can login to code comments at set4.app, or via the login button at set4.io.

Press ‘Code Check’ to access the Code Comments product.

Adding a plan

Set4 Code Comments can be used by integrating with your permit system, or by uploading files. All plans uploaded via file upload or via integration will appear in the main interface.

Plans take about 3-24 hours to complete AI review.

When you upload a plan, your permit types will be shown, and the codebooks used. Reach out to Ed at [email protected] to add more permit types and codebooks.

If a plan fails to upload, usually a re-upload will fix it. Otherwise, reach out to us to fix it.

Using the Code Comments interface

The Code Comments interface has a menu on the right, containing:

• Checks completed (see FAQs)
• Map view of site
• Codebooks used
• AI chat with the plan

Other useful features include:

• Zoom, fit and arrow keys to navigate drawings
